I saw an adult pair in Vadakkechira, Thrissur along with two chicks on a tall ficus tree in 2011, this is in the Saktan Thampuran Palace herbal garden & sacred grove where there are many tall trees, after two years in 2013, I had noticed an adult pair on the same tree, it seems to be resident in this area.
